Wintercircus Arena 


The Arena is a public square, open for everyone to visit.


The standard opening hours are:

  • Winter: daily from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
  • Summer: daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm


As the Arena also serves as an event space, these opening hours may occasionally change due to events, private bookings or other activities.

When the Arena is closed and signage is in place, we kindly ask everyone, including Campus residents, to respect the closure.  Working from the Campus does not include 24/7 access to the Arena.  No worries, though: you can always access the Campus via the Makeba entrance using your access key, and enter or leave through the Collective corridor on level -1.

FORM is our dedicated gym for Campus residents and Collective members, offering a convenient space to work out right here at Wintercircus.

Access is easy with your acces key:

  • Campus residents: 24/7
  • Collective members: Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm

FORM is exclusively available to our Campus and Collective community.

Bar Bougie


Bar Bougie is the meeting place at Wintercircus, located in the former car workshop overlooking the inner courtyard, with an interior that keeps the spirit of the iconic Mahy Fiat garage alive.

Drop by during the day for a coffee, an informal meeting or some remote work with free Wi-Fi. As the day winds down, Bar Bougie turns into the perfect spot for an after-work drink or aperitif. Enjoy great drinks and bites, join one of our events — or host your own.

Opening hours may vary depending on events taking place in the Arena or at Bar Bougie itself.

Sakas by Chef Yoshi


Experience the real taste of Japanese cuisine.

At Sakas, you’ll be immersed in authentic Japanese cuisine. An ideal lunch spot but also a relaxed bar where you can enjoy izakaya-style hand rolls, sashimi, and homemade drinks.

Bakker Klaas


The aroma of fresh bread, greeting you daily.

Thanks to the slow-rising sourdough, Bakker Klaas bakes fresh bread daily with a rich flavor, firm crumb, and crispy crust. You can check out the whole process at the bakery counter and enjoy a hearty breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

  • Open from Wednesday to Sunday from 8.00am to 5.00pm
  • Closed on Monday and Tuesday

Studio Mario


When evening falls, the bakery transforms into Studio Mario: the same place, the same love for craftsmanship, sourdough and local produce, but with wood fire, pizza and a glass to go with it. Come by and taste how good simplicity can be.

Bar Bassie


Experience the thrills of Bar Bassie on the Wintercircus rooftop, offering stunning views over Ghent from De Krook to the three towers. Enjoy top-quality, locally crafted cocktails, mocktails, specialty beers, surprising wines, bar bites, and shared dishes. It's the perfect spot to bring out your best self.

  • Monday to Thusday : 4.00pm - 12.00am
  • Friday to Saturday: 12.00pm - 01.00am
  • Sunday: 12.00pm - 01.00am

As a Campus resident, you can also enjoy the rooftop terrace before Bar Bassie opens.  Perfect for an outdoor lunch, a coffee break or a meeting in the sun.

Rooftop access for Campus residents:

  • Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am – 11:00 am

Once Bar Bassie opens, the rooftop becomes part of the bar experience. From then on, their no-laptop policy applies and we kindly ask you to order something while enjoying the terrace.

Restaurant Tribune


At Tribune, the restaurant on the top floor of Wintercircus, you'll enjoy a unique blend of spectacular views -both over the city and the Arena- and delicious, seasonal dishes.  Immerse yourself in the grandeur and splendor of the circus as it once was.

  • Lunch:   Tuesday to Friday from 12.00pm to 1.30pm
  • Dinner:   Monday - Thursday - Friday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm
  • Closed on Saturday and Sunday
