ARBO by Jef Kinds & Mia Drobec

ARBO is a contemporary circus dreamscape where movement, light, and story dissolve into one. Staged in the majestic Wintercircus Arena, this performance transforms the space into an intimate universe where the impossible feels within reach.

At its core stands an acrobat suspended in a monumental 6 x 6 x 6 meter cube—a labyrinth of air, steel, and thousands of living lights. Each flicker, each shadow, becomes a voice in a dialogue between solitude and connection. The acrobat’s aerial journey turns isolation into play, curiosity, and communion, while the responsive LED lights awaken as fellow performers, bending the space into new dimensions.

ARBO invites the audience into a shimmering microcosm, a place where reality and imagination intertwine. Here, every movement ripples outward, reshaping the story and enveloping the spectators in an immersive embrace.

Created by circus artist Jef Kinds and artistic coordinator Mia Drobec, ARBO is a celebration of artistic collaboration, technology, and the poetry of the human body in flight. More than a performance, it is a multi-sensory voyage through light and emotion—a magical encounter that lingers like a dream beneath the vaulted roof of the Wintercircus.
