In case of an emergency

In case of fire, a medical emergency or an accident, act quickly and don’t hesitate to call for help.

When calling emergency services, clearly state your location: 
Wintercircus, Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat 11, Ghent, and briefly explain what happened.

When you use the app to contact emergency services, it can share your location


In case of fire


  • Raise the alarm: activate the nearest fire alarm call point and call 112.

  • Get yourself to safety: follow the green emergency exit signs and leave the building via the nearest safe exit.

  • Only attempt to extinguish the fire if it is safe to do so, using the nearest fire extinguisher or fire hose.


Fire alarm call points and extinguishers are located throughout the building and can be identified by the red signage.

In case of a medical emergency or accident


  • Call 112 and clearly explain what happened and where you are in the building.

  • Help the injured person if you can while waiting for assistance.

  • An AED is located next to the glass lift at the Lammerstraat entrance and is available for use in a cardiac emergency.

  • First aid kits are available throughout Wintercircus, including at the blue reception desk, Campus coffee corners and food & beverage outlets.

  • Inform Team Wintercircus so we can assist and guide emergency services to the right location.
